Mike and Haffie’s Wedding on Saturday 10th of July 2015
Friday 10th of July 2015, Mike and Haffie got married in Stoke Newington Town Hall followed by a big celebration in The Old Church.
The newly weds and their guests were impressed by the decorations. On each table there was an elegant white table cloth layed beneathe an emerald green table runner. The tables were decorated with cute heart shaped name-cards, chic holders for table numbers, tasteful table runners, a big candle and white flower vases with stunning blue, white and red roses. A small gift for each guest was placed below the white napkins. The entire church was decorated with little candles inside of Jam Jars. Positioned at the entrance of the church was a framed table plan, a picture frame for guests to sign, a variety of coloured pens, a wicker basket to hold cards and a beautiful guitar.
The guests were greeted upon arrival to The Old Church with a reception drink in the garden; options included sparkling wine, soft drinks and elderflower cocktails. During the wedding reception Irish food was mixed with Ugandan food. It was a flavourful fusion between two culinarily distinct nations. Everyone was very content with the food. While the guests enjoyed dinner the father of the bride, the groom and the two best men took turns making special speeches accompanied by a sparkling wine toast.
The spectacular weather made for an exta memorable day!
